18 Jan 2012 – Blood donation
On January 18th, 2012, the annual Blood Donation was held. Our students and staff passed on the torch of the Good Hope spirit of Love, Hope, Joy and Thanksgiving from previous years by setting a blazing example. This year, a record number of donors participated in the event. It was without a doubt, a resounding display of the loving nature of our students and staff at our school.
4 Jan, 2012 - Annual Swimming Gala
The annual Swimming Gala was held once again at the Kowloon Park Swimming Pool, on the 4th January, 2012. It was one of the most exciting annual events of the school. As in previous years, the swimmers competed by doing their best. While many of our schoolmates this year broke the previous records, they all showed the spirit of sportsmanship. No wonder the swimming gala strengthened our bonds among our fellow schoolmates.

1 Jan 2012 – New Year Concert
The annual New Year's Concert was held on 1st January 2012 to celebrate the new year. It began with a flourish with an opening speech by our principal, Mr. Chow, followed by a moving number from our school orchestra. Renditions of Down to the River to Pray and Heart, We Will Forget Him awed the audience while both the kindergarten and junior choir touched the hearts of many with their angelic voices. It was a spectacular start to 2012 and the beginning of many wonderful experiences for our students this year.
22 Dec, 2011 – Christmas Celebration and F.6 Farewell
Today, all Good Hopers had a wonderful time together in the Delia’s Hall. After our Christmas mass, the six house captains dressed up as Santa Clause and played games with us. We all enjoyed ourselves; even teachers participated in the Christmas Celebration! After the Christmas Celebration, our F.6 schoolmates said farewell to their teachers and fellow schoolmates. They will be at home studying and striving for exemplary results in the coming DSE.

2 Dec 2011 - School visit to the Middle School attached to Sun Yat-sun University
On December 2nd, the entire teaching body of Good Hope School went on an exchange to the Middle School attached to Sun Yat-sun University in Guangzhou. It was an enriching and rewarding experience that saw a highly-charged cross cultural exchange benefit both schools across the border greatly. Teachers of both schools shared universal core values of love and joy as well as their professionalism in their lesson observations conducted during the day. It was indeed a fruitful and memorable visit for everyone involved.

24 Nov 2011 - Professional exchange with the principals and the teachers from two secondary schools in China
On the 24th November 2011, Foshan Jili Middle School and Chengbei Middle School visited our school on a teaching practices exchange. Their teacher representatives arrived at 2pm and received a warm welcome from our staff. Teachers of all schools found the exchange illuminating and productive. It was rewarding to share teaching philosophy and practices across different cultures. The visit ended at 5pm and was a resounding success.
