3 May 2012 - Joint Science Activity of the GHS Secondary and Primary Sections
A joint science activity involving both GHS Secondary and Primary students was organized on the 3rd of May. About 60 students from the Secondary section acted as student leaders to teach Primary 5 students how to do some simple experiments in the classroom. Besides acquiring scientific knowledge, students found that learning science was fun! Everyone enjoyed the activity very much.

23-25 April 2012 - Inter-class Mathematics Contest, 2012
From 23 to 25 April, S1-S3 students were involved in the Inter-class Mathematics Contest, 2012. The competition consisted of two parts, the riddle part and the game part, and the questions were both creative and challenging. The competitors enjoyed discussing the problems with their teammates, and it was good to see so many of their classmates coming along to cheer them all on.
16 April 2012 – The Easter Mass
The Easter Mass was held on 16th April, 2012, to celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Resurrection brings hope to all mankind because it promises eternal life. It also serves to remind us that people everywhere can help one another to overcome their difficulties and weaknesses, rising to a new life.

14 April 2012 – Joint School Instrumental Music Concert 2012
On the 14th of April, the Good Hope School Orchestra organized the Joint School Instrumental Music Concert, 2012, to show everyone the results of the Instrumental Music Camp of 12 to 14 April. This year, young musicians from the Good Hope Primary Section, La Salle College, and Queen’s College all took part. With the expertise of renowned conductors and the enthusiasm of the young musicians, the audience had an enjoyable and unforgettable evening.

5-11 April 2012 – Excursions
During the Easter holiday, Good Hope students participated in two different types of trip. Student exchange programmes were coordinated with both the Beijing No.15 School and the High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University, and there was an Outward Bound expedition. On the exchange trips Good Hope students attended formal lessons in the partner schools and got to appreciate a different style of education. On the Outward Bound expedition the students learned how to be much more independent and confident.
22 Mar, 2012 – The Hunger Meal
At the 'Hunger Meal' activity, of March 22, all students were given a small taste of 'hunger' by being given just plain bread rolls for lunch. They were then asked to reflect upon the situation of those in the world who suffer from hunger and famine on a daily basis. After this, they were encouraged to do something to help these poor people by, for example, donating money to famine relief organizations.
