AFS Intercultural Exchanges is an international non-profit organization providing many opportunities to teenagers who want to explore the world and expand their horizons through different exchange programmes.

On the 22nd Jan 2011, an annual AFS Intercultural Fair was held in Buddhist Sin Tak College in Kwai Chung. A total of 18 girls of our school have joined the activity. Exchanged students from more than 20 countries including Argentina, Belgium, Germany, and USA participated in the Fair, which made the Fair very much diverse and versatile in cultures. They led the cultural activities and helped answer questions from local students.

We also met two volunteer helpers who are GHS graduates and have been the exchanged students. (Pinky Ng & Michelle Wu)

Moreover, participants could know more about different cultures by playing games, dancing, singing, food tasting and playing sports. Through this Fair, local students could be more aware and familiar of different unique cultures around the world, and they also could make friends with foreign students. It was absolutely beneficial to both exchange students and local students. All of us enjoyed the day.
