
The Education Bureau (EDB) announces over all radio and television channels whether or not there will be suspension of classes. Listen to the radio or television announcements for weather, road and traffic conditions. Typhoon
In the event of a typhoon, the following general arrangements will apply and appropriate public announcements will be made:

● Classes will be suspended.
● Students who have not left home should stay at home.
● Students who are on their way to school should either continue to proceed to school or return home if conditions are safe. Otherwise, they should remain in a safe place. The school premises will be open and staffed until proper arrangements are made for arriving students to return home once conditions are safe.

Heavy Persistent Rain
In the event of rainstorms, the following general arrangements will apply and appropriate public announcements will be made:

Red or Black (i) Issued before 8:00 a.m.

● Classes will be suspended all day. Students do not need to attend school.
● Students who have not left for school should stay home.
● The school premises will be open and staffed until the end of the normal school day to look after students who have arrived until proper arrangements are made for them to return home once conditions are safe.
● Parents do not need to collect their daughters from school immediately.
● If students learn the class suspension announcement on their way to school, they should decide whether to proceed to the school taking into consideration the rain, road, slope or traffic conditions.

(ii) Issued from 8:00 a.m. onwards
|
● School will continue the lessons until the end of the normal school hours. The school will ensure that conditions are safe before allowing students to return home.
● Parents do not need to collect their daughters from school immediately.

Internal Examinations

In the event of a public announcement made by EDB that all schools are to be closed as a result of adverse weather conditions, the scheduled tests / examinations will be postponed to the next available school day.
