The Values Education and Careers & Life Planning Committee (VECLPC) at Good Hope School, consisting of the Values Education Team and Careers Guidance Team, emphasizes the personal and professional growth of our students of all ages. Good Hopers are given equal opportunities to lay a sound moral foundation, acquire proper values, and to develop a sense of responsibility and social awareness, in line with ongoing life-long planning support and careers guidance to help them develop their diverse career pathways.
Values education and careers & life planning at Good Hope School are taught across the curriculums. Through collaboration with the Student Support Committee, Other Learning Experiences Committee and Student Leadership Committee, the VECLPC organizes various activities to instill correct values into Good Hopers so as to enhance their self-understanding and goal-setting skills.
The VECLPC aims to cultivate the Catholic values of Love, Hope, Joy and Thanksgiving among Good Hopers and foster their self-understanding and personal development at different stages of their secondary school life. Implementing the curriculum through a holistic approach helps our students to better prepare themselves when making informed and responsible choices as well as seeking the best opportunities ahead.
